Counselling options with Napier Counselling
Counselling sessions last for 50 minutes. You will meet with your Counsellor once per week at the same day and time.
Short term counselling tends to comprise of between four and 10 sessions. Its objective is to identify and work through issues which have been affecting your day to day life. This may help you feel emotionally stronger and better placed to cope with life.
In longer term counselling you will explore and work through underlying issues which affect even more; the core parts of your “self” which has resulted in the way that you experience the world and interact with it. As a result, your emotional pain may begin to ease and dissipate and you will feel more positively in control of your life.
